FAQs

What material is used for sulugood bamboo blinds? Is the quality guaranteed?
Our bamboo blinds are crafted from Nanmu bamboo or Moso bamboo, known for their long growth cycles and high density. The bamboo slats are uniform in thickness, feature a natural color, and have a smooth surface free of splinters. All bamboo undergoes high-temperature steaming and carbonization processes to effectively resist mold and pests. It also passes environmental testing with no pungent odors. Accessories like pull cords and hooks are made from wear-resistant, rust-proof materials. The entire product is sturdy and durable, lasting 3-5 years with normal use, ensuring quality assurance.
How effective are bamboo blinds at blocking light? Are they suitable for bedrooms?
The light-blocking capability varies depending on the fabric and weave density. If complete light blockage is required in a bedroom, pairing them with blackout lining is recommended. This approach preserves the natural texture of the bamboo blinds while meeting sleep requirements.
Are bamboo blinds suitable for bathrooms or kitchens? Are they susceptible to moisture and grease?
Standard bamboo blinds are not recommended for direct use in bathrooms (prolonged dampness may cause mold growth), but specialized waterproof-coated models can withstand daily moisture exposure. They are perfectly suitable for kitchens—the smooth bamboo surface allows grease stains to be wiped clean with a damp cloth for easy maintenance. However, avoid prolonged contact with large amounts of standing water or high-temperature grease. Regular ventilation and air-drying will keep them in good condition.
Is there a safety risk with bamboo blinds if there are children at home?
Our bamboo blinds incorporate multiple safety features: the edges of each slat are rounded to eliminate sharp burrs, and the track is securely installed to prevent accidental detachment.
Will bamboo blinds attract insects? How can I prevent and address this?
Our bamboo blinds undergo high-temperature steaming and insect-proof treatment, meeting anti-insect standards upon leaving the factory. Under normal use, they are unlikely to attract insects. For prevention, we recommend airing them out 1-2 times per month and avoiding prolonged exposure to damp environments. If insects unexpectedly appear, remove the blinds and wipe them with a dry cloth dipped in a small amount of insect repellent (such as camphor water). Allow them to air dry before reuse—this poses no health risks.
