Their core mounting methods fall into three main categories: the first is telescopic rod-style, which secures by pressing the rod ends against the window frame or wall; the second is adhesive hook/track-style, utilizing strong adhesive backing to attach to the installation surface; and the third is hook-and-loop tape-style, which fixes by attaching male and female strips to the curtain and installation surface respectively. Each method suits different scenarios while avoiding wall damage.
What scenarios are drill-free curtains suitable for? Can they be used in rental properties and older homes?
They are suitable for a wide range of scenarios, including all indoor spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. They are particularly ideal for rental properties, older homes, and newly decorated homes where drilling holes is not permitted or desired. Waterproof options are available for kitchens and bathrooms, while child-safe anti-fall designs are available for children's rooms. When moving out of a rental property, they can be removed without leaving any traces, ensuring no impact on the property handover.
Does installation require specialized tools? Can beginners install it themselves? How long does it take?
No specialized tools are needed, and beginners can complete the installation independently. For telescopic pole models, simply adjust the pole length and secure it in place—installation takes 5-10 minutes. Illustrated instructions and installation videos are provided, with straightforward, easy-to-follow steps.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of no-drill curtains compared to traditional drilled curtains?
Advantages: Easy installation without damage, strong adaptability, convenient removal (facilitates cleaning and moving), suitable for temporary use scenarios; Disadvantages: Lower weight capacity than drilled types (drilled types can support over 15kg), adhesive hooks may degrade in prolonged high-temperature/humidity environments, telescopic rods require specific installation width (3-5cm adjustment space needed). For everyday home use, drill-free curtains suffice; heavy curtains are recommended for drilled types.
Does the light-blocking effect of drill-free curtains match that of drilled ones? Can I choose fully light-blocking options?
Light-blocking performance depends on the fabric, not the installation method. Fully light-blocking options are available. For the same fabric, drill-free and drilled curtains offer identical light-blocking rates. Fully light-blocking fabrics (such as blackout silk or silver-coated blackout fabric) achieve 95%-99% light blockage, meeting requirements for bedrooms and similar settings.
